Hello people!!! I am back. I have not died in the past week in Ghana even though it seems like a close call everyday.
So this week I have spent far too much time in Trows. Now a Trow is a small bus-type car like a Transit and it gets packed with extra seats and everyone pays money to sit in them for a few hours on a dusty road getting dirty and having no space to breathe.
Being in Dunkwa has it perks but one downfall is the fact that we are the furthest spot from anything! So at any point when we have to travel, we have to take the worst road in my mission (it is a proven fact that it is the worst). Having been in Dunkwa longer then anyone, at this point, I am getting slightly frustrated with the road but hopefully it will get easier and easier just in case I don't get asked to leave.
For the past transfer my mission president has asked everyone to plan a way for themselves to build their faith. My plan is based off of Romans 10:17 (Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word s of God) and D&C 88:118 (it says to seek ye out the best books). With this I have decided to study Jesus the Christ and memorize the living Christ and do the Topical guide Jesus Christ subtopic challenge. Now I am going to switch between Jesus The Christ and the subtopic challenge everyday (even though it is hard to put Jesus the Christ down) and memorize (or attempt to) a line for the Living Christ everyday. I invite all of you to make your own plans and goals to build your faith. I would love to see your plans just to see if I need to add anything to mine. "Faith preceedeth the Miracle" so lets make some miracles happen.
