Tough Days

Hello Everybody. I hope all is going well where you are, wherever that may be.

So this past week I have seen a lot, there have been ups and downs and many reminders and many instances where I could see God's hand in my life. There are times for each of us, especially missionaries, where we must choose to see His hand. It is easy to come together as a group of missionaries in an apartment and see paths altered when our investigators make good choices or feel the spirit.  It is easy to claim the credit for ourselves but it is a lot more difficult to unite in the understanding that it is through God that we are acomplishing anything. Many people here see God's hand in their life but it also seems that there is a difficulty in understanding His purpose and intent. With our Father in Heaven we don't get to see His face because our faith must be tested, but as we decide to see His hands reaching out to us we can understand that He is in every moment of our lives. When good and bad happens, if the result is something that can strengthen you and improve your life then it may be a gift from God. That goes for me too and I need to remember that more and more.

Sometimes it is very difficult to not take the credit but there are even moments where people slip up in the scriptures. And they are then reminded that God is the one in charge. All Good things come from him and all credit for such things belongs to Him as well.

I love you all, this week make sure to look For God's hand in your world and see if you can see better how He is helping you.

My apartment struggled to have much success with people this week. We are working from the inside out trying to determine how we can better show our commitment to the work and the kingdom. Hopefully as we strengthen each other in the apartment, it will translate to strengthening others. It is difficult to get everyone the apartment on the same page sometimes but I am trying to figure out how to use my new calling as District leader in a loving way and bring everyone onto the same page as we try to meet our goals.  I would be grateful for any prayers on my behalf.

Love you all
