A Very Good Friday!

Hey everyone. I miss you all so much. This past week has been really nice, even through rain and storms, my companion and I were able to talk and meet with a lot of people. Now we didn't get perfect days or anything, but we got days that I can be proud of on this crazy mission.

Something I have come to understand more is that being proud of what you have done does not matter much. What matters is when you have received the approval of God. Now this works to both push you and me but also to uplift us. When God is in control, we must give our one hundred percent best.  But once that has been achieved then the rest is up to Him. Now challenges arise in all our lives, but as we push ourselves, even when we do not achieve our goals, God may be teaching us something different than what we expected to learn that day.  Usually that means that He is teaching us something more important than we could have learned ourselves. There are times when God will set our own goals aside to ensure that we are following Him and not ourselves. When you see that you have done your best, never be dissapointed or discouraged, you have done all that can be asked of you. See your effort and be content with your best (push yourself but do not kill yourself) When God sees you put your best foot forward he will be happy with you.

Seek first the Kingdom of God and everything else will be added unto you. Keep working hard and show to God that you are willing to give your all. But even once you have exceeded your own expectations, remember that if you have not reached the goal, you at least did your best.  I am counting on God seeing my efforts on my mission at this time even though our numbers are low and we get pretty discouraged at times.  There are few who want to listen right now - we have to remember that God will guide them and us - Friday was a better day than the rest of the week because some of our appointments actually came to pass instead of people being too busy to see us. We struggle getting people's time because there are so many distractions here.  My companion and I keep trying. I promise we do!

I love you all so much. Keep being amazing.
